The Kelpies are 30-metre-high horse-head sculptures depicting kelpies, located between Falkirk and Grangemouth, standing next to a new extension to the Forth and Clyde Canal, and near River Carron, in The Helix.

Falkirk

Start

Situated in Scotland’s central belt, Falkirk blends industrial heritage with innovative design. Once a powerhouse of iron and steel, the area is now known for the striking Falkirk Wheel and the monumental Kelpies—symbols of regeneration and creativity. With the Forth & Clyde and Union Canals meeting here, Falkirk offers a scenic network of waterways, green spaces like Callendar Park, and a strong sense of community at the heart of central Scotland.
